About the Author Donald Altman is a psychotherapist, international mindfulness trainer, former Buddhist monk and award-winning author who is profiled in "The Living Spiritual Teachers Project" and featured in "The Mindfulness Movie." His new novel TRAVELERS was inspired by Kesey's One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. When a mysterious and mind-bending Traveling pet therapist and her sentient canine come to the psych ward, the Doctor must confront his beliefs about the nature of conscious--and even death--in order to heal from his own agonizing grief and save a young, psychotic patient from demons both real and imagined.
